Adrenal Fatigue Cortisol Test

The most common thing that people complain about is stress. Too much work leads to stress. Not to mention the fact that the work is not the only thing on your mind all day.

There are other problems such as emotional problems and personal issues. And when you have all this bothering you, there is no guarantee that you will not have stress. There is also a high probability that you develop adrenal fatigue syndrome as well.

Adrenal fatigue syndrome is a condition in which your adrenal glands exhausted. So what is the best way to tell if you have stressed adrenal? How do you know if you have low or high cortisol? This is easy. You should take the cortisol lab test.

There are two ways to use this kind of test. One of them is the blood and urine tests for cortisol. Urine and blood tests for cortisol may be used to aid the diagnosis of Cushing's syndrome and Addison's disease, which are two very serious adrenal disorders.

Note that cortisol levels rose and sank at different periods of the day depending on the type of activities you are doing. In normal people, cortisol levels are usually very high when they just woke up.

Cortisol is very low, however, during your sleep time. When your "body clock" disturbed, meaning you wake up late or earlier than usual and sleep at different times of the day and not usually by the time you go to sleep, cortisol production may be disrupted.

Sometimes cortisol production will be increased as a result of which too much cortisol is stored. Remember that excess cortisol is not good. This may cause a tumor outside the pituitary gland if you have adrenal problems.
